Antonio Alston.
Art with a story.
Born and raised in Washington, D.C., Antonio Alston brings a lifetime of artistic curiosity to every piece he creates. His work lives where art and fashion meet: bold, personal, and unmistakably original.
A graduate of the Duke Ellington School of the Arts, Antonio developed his creative instincts and technical skills through a rigorous arts education. He continued at the Maryland College of Art and Design and further explored his craft in a summer arts program at the Corcoran School of Arts and Designs.
A self-taught passion. A personal vision.
College introduced Antonio to airbrushing. Drawn to its expressive possibilities, he taught himself the medium and began producing and selling airbrushed apparel. Intricate designs and vibrant colors helped him find his place in the world of custom art.
Create something with Antonio
Antonio’s education opened the door to diverse artistic disciplines, techniques, and perspectives. His summer studies at Corcoran deepened that exploration, helping shape the versatile artistic identity that continues to guide his work. His professional background includes two retail businesses, where he worked as both an airbrush artist and a graphic artist. Alongside creating artwork, he learned the practical processes behind printing T-shirts and other merchandise, from design to production. That hands-on experience gave him an understanding of the demands of the custom-art industry and sparked the desire to build a business of his own. With skills in airbrushing and graphic design, Antonio founded a brand dedicated to original products for a wide range of people, preferences, and occasions. AirXplosion is the result of that journey: a commitment to artistic excellence, individual craftsmanship, and the belief that everyday items can become deeply personal works of art.
